For some fans, the track sounds good, but it doesn't have anything special to it. Unexpectedly, there is still a glimmer of hope in the depths of darkness that pushes Anna to keep moving forward. With this song, viewers can feel the light inside of Anna fading away as grief consumes her like a black storm cloud. Her heartbreaking solo The Next Right Thing encompasses all of honest agony, making the audience fall to pieces with her. Anna may be an optimist, but in Frozen 2, she faces her darkest hour yet when Elsa and Olaf seemingly meet their end.
Regarding Anna's songs, fans agree that the Frozen 2 soundtrack can't compare with her duet with Hans, Love is an Open Door, in the first film. Sadly, the song isn't as funny and catchy in comparison to In Summer. In contrast, Olaf sings a similar tune to himself in the sequel, When I Am Older, as he cheerfully skips through a sooky forest, blissfully unaware that his surrounding is out of the ordinary, even for a talking snowman.
